 Kimmee – (6yr. – 14H – Actual: 13.3-3/4) —-is a beautiful rich color bay!
Her coat just shimmers in the sun!   Kimmee came from a family with a five
year old little boy, Jayden.  Jayden has ridden Kimmee on trail rides with
his parents, and, his Mom and Dad rode her, too!  She is a mare for all ages!——
————-Kimmee ‘s temperament is calm, quiet, still-like in both ground
manners (leading, petting, shoeing, tacking up)………..and with riding, too.
As you will see in her videos,…..she is so very patient.  She stops, stands and
waits anytime you want!!  For as long as you want!  —————————
Kimmee had not been ridden since last fall when I brought her home.  The very
first time, she stood to mount and waited!  I love horses that will do that!
Usually when pastured for months, not handled, not ridden –
one has to work with a horse when they start to ride again.  Not Kimmee, – she
is the same 24/7.  There are no surprises with Kimmee!!——————————–
She is easy to load and as you will see in her videos, she is a dream to shoe!!!
She does not move!!   Kimmee gets along with other horses.  She does
not cause any problems…..very humble…….and loves to be petted and groomed.
As for her gait?……oh my gosh!   Smooth as can be!  You do not move in the saddle!!
Even in her faster gait, she stays in gait and is smooth!  And she is a dream to ride
bareback too!  Kimmee rides double! And again, she “always!” stands to mount! ———
No matter how long she goes without being ridden!!——————-Kimmee is a horse
that is very sure footed.  She steps slowly and cautiously going down hills and in
difficult places!  She crosses anything!  And is very much non-spook!! —–Even the
first time on our 4-lane highway …..she paid no attention!   She is amazing with being
calm, quiet, consistent in difficult situations.  There are no surprises with Kimmee
——————–The only negative (if you could call it that because some horses just
take more time with trust and bonding)…………Her previous family told me before I
bought her that when Kimmee is out in a BIG pasture for months,……she is hesitate to
be still to be caught.  She will walk away from you and it takes 15 -20 minutes
of patience and slow easy waiting… catch her.  When I brought her home,
I put her in a stall with a large walk out area.  And yes, she did that same thing to
me.   It took a few days of my spending time with her,…petting, talking to her,….
grooming…..and “just being with her”…….for her to not walk away and out the
back door when I would open the stall door. She is very loving…loves her face to be
rubbed….loves to be petted all over———-One has to
understand that when a horse (some) …..has lived on the same farm for years - pastured
for several months with no riding or handling……. then they are
loaded up and taken to a new place….one has to sometimes be patient and
wait for them to come around to trusting.  This is THE ONLY!!! negative
behavior Kimmee has.
Other than this,….. she is as close to being “perfect” as can be!!
Awesome to stand still to mount…..
“and waits to be told to move”—– awesome with patience with stop/
stand/ and waiting when out on trail ride, anytime – for as long as
you want! —-Awesome to shoe (please see videos)–and a dream for
young children!  Awesome to stand in cross ties or tied wherever and not
move – great for smaller children who love to stand and groom!  A dream
ride for Special Needs riders who needs a safe, head sense, 24/7 consistent
behavior no matter what!!———-She is a beautiful mare in color and
conformation! So if you can be
patient, and be willing to earn her trust,……you
will love Kimmee!!!——————————————-
