Chip’s Snickers (named after his previous owner, Chip)…….His color is a rare find !
He is absolutely gorgeous! Sweet! Funny! Curious!!
“Chip” – (6 yr. old – 14.1-1/2) is a rare find when it comes to color! He is Flashy! Eye-catching – gorgeous! He has wonderful ground manners! Chip is a VERY affectionate and funny horse! He loves to sniff your hair…..loves to be close…..loves people! He stands to mount,……easy to bathe, load, shoe, and is traffic broke, barking dog at the heels broke,……farm equipment broke. He has been trail ridden consistently the past year.
Chip has a beautiful spirit and personality! He is not for timid,…young,….or beginner riders. “He loves to play”……and will sometimes decide he is going his way and you have to let him know…… “No, we are going my way”——–I think this would be intimidating to the above type riders. He has been ridden by different riders the past year and I think because he has had no consistency in his life,….he just doesn’t know ………. It’s like a pony that has had no discipline —-with children just allowing him to do what he wants….…
For someone with experience and who is not intimidated with a horse sometimes testing them, he will be a joy. By testing…..I don’t mean rearing or bucking……. He will be going along and then just decide to do a “prancy dance” in the front end…..no rearing up….just playfully prancing. Chip does have a smooth gait,…..but because he has been allowed to do what he wants…..and, because he is a little lazy,……he will go along gaiting and then break into a smooth trot………He is kind of lazy…… Sometimes you have to nudge him with your heels to get his attention and go on.
He is a beautiful boy in every way! And you will love his sweetness…….loving to be close,…..nuzzling you….. He is just a baby in this way! The sweetest!
