Subject: Santana

I want you to know I’m absolutely thrilled with Dollar. He is turning out to be all you said and great for Keerstin.  As the pictures show, he is so personable, and we are falling in love with him!  Secondly, Santana is a doll!!

We took him on his first trail ride yesterday and he was an absolute angel!  He gaited beautifully and was so awesome to ride that I fell more in love with him than ever!!! He is such a sweetheart I can’t take it!  I am truly thrilled!

As far as the final result of this transaction goes, I am truly thrilled!  I love both of these horses to pieces. They are trained beautifully and have wonderful demeanors.

Dollar (coming 4 yr. – Exception to the rule!~ Temperament like a 12 yr. old!! –He is Amazing!! —– 14.1) — is the cutest!! —**NOTE: IN VIDEOS I SAID HE IS 14 ½ HANDS……..DOLLAR IS 14.1 – AND ACCORDING TO MEASUREMENTS – WILL PROBABLY GROW TO ABOUT 14.2.——- He is a beautiful gray with a lot of black markings! His mane needs work though! A mare chewed it out at his previous home. Dollar is going to be gorgeous when he gets a long mane on him! Unfortunately, that will take time, so if you are one that is willing to wait, you will have one beautiful horse when that happens!!!!

We have been working with Special Needs Children and Adults, as well as Beginner and Experienced riders for over six years. In that time, I have sold 8 young horses, some going to families with small children. I sold a 20 mo. old to a Mom and two young girls – at that time, ages 2 & 4 – and they loved him! They are on my testimonials page…..as well as others. I am very cautious with recommending young horses to families, but there are a few exceptions to the rule. If a horse is born with a slow moving, lazy like, sleepy, laid back personality – they are going to be that way their entire life. Dollar is one of those.

He will fall asleep in the crossties while you are brushing him…..he will close his eyes when just standing around waiting……he is so very patient! He will stop anywhere on the trail ride — stand and wait for as long as you want without moving. I love that about him! Dollar stands to mount & mounts from the mounting block. He picks up his feet easily, walks right on the horse trailer, loves his baths, and when he sees you coming – he will be the first one to the gate. He is a puppy in the pasture with following you every step you make. Dollar is very curious…..he is funny……when fencing he is into the bucket, the golf cart,….checking everything out! He is SO VERY LOVING! Dollar loves his baths. He is ticklish in the back end….he will crunch up a little but doesn’t jump or do anything else…. Dollar has VERY slow like movements with all things.

We are working on backing up and he is getting there but not quite where we want him….he is so easy to work with in all things! He listens,…..and loves to be petted and praised.
He loves to please….will cross anything,…is traffic broke,…doesn’t pay any attention to barking dogs,…..farm equipment, mowers, etc.

We bought him from a family close to McKee, Ky. – Huge hills, woods, creeks, wildlife,…..he is young, but he has been trail ridden consistently the past year!
There are several videos of Dollar and an 11 year old riding him, mounting, dismounting, etc. **With small children,…Dollar will just stand. He will not move. You can see a video with an 11 yr. old trying to get him to go. A young person has to use the reins, or a crop, or wear small spurs to get him to go.
You don’t have to worry about Dollar running off with a child!!! (:
If an adult is riding him,…..he will respond to voice command,….cluck to him, gentle touch in the sides and he goes.

Dollar is a sweet, sweet horse with his whole life ahead of him!! He is a
wonderful “family horse” for all ages! He is so very cute right now,…..but when his mane grows out,….he is going to be gorgeous with his color and
markings!!! You are welcome to contact the families that have bought young horses from us! They were not disappointed and you won’t be disappointed in Dollar!!
